About Me

It has been my immense privelege to set-up and run several holidays in South America for touring sports teams. I established my own company to administer the affairs of the tour, but all the work was down to me: booking hotels, arranging transfers, liaising with our hosts, scheduling tourism visits, acting as tour guide and so on. Much of this had to be done in Portuguese or Spanish, and given that many of my tourists were elderly, there was huge responsibility on my shoulders for the safety and well-being of the guests - many of whom repeated the trips several times.
Why bother telling you this? Because it shows I have admin skills aplenty, customer care skills, business management skills, admin skills, language skills and so on.
