About Me

As a freelance writer and proofreader I have more than 30 years' experience of working in marketing and B2B/B2C communications.
In B2B and consumer markets, I've got experience of promoting everything from architecture to zoology, and the companies I have worked for include some of the biggest known brands, as well as several smaller companies. However, a key point for all my clients is that I understand their business. After all, my words mean nothing if I can't understand their product and their market. It is this ability to get to the core of a client's requirements that explains why many of my customers have been with me for more than 10 years. How many fancy agencies can boast that level of retention and loyalty?
I also understand that you have a budget, and deadlines, and that this is the real world where people's jobs and livelihoods depend on the sales you make and the messages you send out. So everything I do is geared towards getting the best results for your budget, whether it is a one-off writing job, or a full year of PR services.
